I live in Australia and it’s been tough, but to suggest that the situation would be better by not giving up our guns and second amendment, etc…🥱…it’s a bit silly, IMO. That being said, it seems like we’re about 12 months behind the rest of the world, so maybe guns is the answer to our problems and you’re right? 🤷. Great content as always!
I've spent a bit of time in Australia over the years, my favorite country to visit. Talking to my friends I was disturbed by the goverments latest reaction. They had suburbs locked down by the military and roving patrols to ensure compliance with the mask mandate. Orwellian is the best way to describe it.
I'm Aussie but live in UK. Disturbing footage of police bashing protestors, Oz police have always been heavy handed. Though don't think this is too diff. to US police despite guns? Either way police are thugs who need to be held to account. Quarantine has been around for a year, but in hotels. The American commentary on Twitter is a bit ott on the camps, the real problem is they make returning citizens $2.5k for the privilege of accessing their own country.
Let me know what you think about Australia
