Well folks one of the most anticipated debates in a long time is fast approaching on June 25th — the Presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
Today’s post is for free for all Arb Letter subscribers. If you missed some of our paid posts over the last two weeks you can find them linked below:
The Presidential Debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is this evening on CNN at 9 p.m. ET. This debate will be the first time either candidate has been on a debate stage since 2020.
On thing is for certain here — CNN is not unbiased and there will be games played to not only paint Trump in a bad light, but also assist Joe Biden throughout the night.
To be honest — I’m not even sure why Trump accepted the terms of this debate (which you can see below).
Reporters aren’t even allowed on site.
We got news this morning that CNN has installed buttons that will allow for moderators to mute or unmute each candidate — on the candidates podiums will be a light that will flash green when they can be heard and red when they cannot. You can check out how patronizing and ridiculous the video is below.
Do we really think this won’t be used to protect Joe?
Also keep an eye on if this debate ends up being 1:1 or 3:1. Jake Tapper will be sure to be the arbiter of “truth” and call out Trump for saying things he disagrees with.
“Conspiracy theories” “misinformation” and “lies” will all be used by the panel to frame questions and lead Trump to paint him in a bad light.
If you want to make things REALLY interesting take a shot each time the phrase “convicted felon” gets used.
Going into this debate it’s probably helpful to get a few things out of the way.
You’re entire view of what’s happening in the US comes down to several key contention points that separate people into two camps. I have reviewed these before but let’s do a quick refresher.
Understand that depending on where you fall on the political spectrum AND what you believe to be true — you likely cannot even comprehend the alternative viewpoint, but it’s important to list them out because the entire basis of your sentiment or understanding of what’s going on hinges on which reality you believe/buy into.
These include:
Believing the 2020 election was rigged or all on the up and up
Recognizing how bad things have gotten in the US since Biden took over or thinking that it’s never been better
Thinking Trump is actually a Felon or understanding that our courts, officials, and administration is weaponizing lawfare to target political opponents
Thinking Trump is worse than Hitler or thinking he’s not perfect but he’s the best hope at getting the US back on track
Viewing January 6th as a Fed op and Reichstag fire type event OR thinking it was actually a terrible and horrific assault on democracy
Believing everything the media tells you OR understanding just how aligned the media is with the establishment/government
Believing the economy is healthy and never better under Biden OR believing that we are on the precipice of disaster and things have never been more unaffordable for the majority of Americans
Believing the Biden admin’s foreign policy is good OR believing our foreign reputation is in shambles
Believing establishment data on crime OR believing that crime is out of control
Believing in open borders OR believing every nation needs border security
Believing the media is remotely fair OR believing the media is one sided 99% of the time
I lay this out because if you believe that 2020 was rigged and that our nation is on the edge of full blown tyranny, you expect tonight to be a one sided show.
If you believe Trump is the antichrist you’re probably thrilled CNN is hosting and you see no slippery slope with CNN controlling who can speak or not speak (equally. important) with the click of a button.
You’re comprehension of what takes place tonight hinges on what you believe reality is at this point and for many Americans it differs drastically.
Ironically both camps believe this is one of them most important elections of our lifetime and the consequences of either candidate getting back in or retaining the office is the end of this country as we know it.
Only one camp is closer to being more on the money.
Not my place to say which.
I’m going to try and keep my pre-analysis of this event as objective as possible — but if you read my political pieces you already know where I stand.
I recognize that neither Republicans nor Democrats are going to “save us”. But I also recognize that we’ve seen a steep descent into borderline authoritarian and autocratic centralized power in DC within the uniparty, federal branches of government, and intelligence agencies.
Much like the laughable trial in NYC — this debate will not and cannot be “fair” or “objective”. Hopefully even moderates or independants can see that.
I’m by no means a hardcore Trumper — I’d prefer another candidate if it was possible, but there are some things that I like about Trump and for now he’s the only option for those on the right side of the aisle or for those who are seriously concerned about the future of this country.
Trump got a lot wrong in his last term. I get why some people don’t like his personality. But the attacks and legal “charges” fueled by partisan DA’s and federal organizations are noise. The persecution of political opponents in this country and the use of law-fare rivals Bolshevik Russia tactics.
I’ve detailed my take on him multiple times — that he has been a vessel of sorts for a large portion of the US population that feels completely disenfranchised by their government and officials in DC, that the number one reason he is such a target is because he is not part of the DC establishment filled with the ranks of the Clintons, Obamas, Bush family, and plenty of other politicians on both sides of the political aisle.
I’m not sure how anybody can argue the US government has prioritized the US people in the past 20 years. They no longer serve the people, they serve their own interests be through that foreign wars, corruption schemes, money laundering, power grabs, pandemics that don’t come from pangolins, or true disinformation campaigns to sway our sentiment and divide the populace.
The last 4 years has shown everyone, whether or not they choose to acknowledge it, what happens before centralized government attempts to become the reigning uniparty.
It’s not debatable that Trump has been targeted, slandered, smeared, and scrutinized more than any other president in the history of the United States. Lefties will say it’s deserved but the facts don’t add up.
If Trump was ACTUALLY guilty of everything the media and establishment continuously says he is, then he really would be in prison or barred from being in politics again. Hell at this point if they could’ve stretched the law or illegally imprisoned him they would have.
If he actually tried to overthrow democracy he’d be in prison.
If he actually stole and hid truly sensitive documents he’d be in prison.
If he actually colluded with Russia he’d be in prison.
But they haven’t and they can’t do that YET and that speaks volumes about the reality of the lies and falsehoods the left and the establishment media swears he is guilty of.
Trump used to be and still is to some — an American icon and symbol of the American Dream. What changed?
He entered an arena of snakes and vile public officials. He challenged existing power dynamics and apparatuses.
Washington and their media cabal hate outsiders. They hate anyone who challenges the status quo of making insiders more wealthy, powerful, and untouchable.
Rest assured CNN and their cronies will do EVERYTHING in their power to paint Trump in a poor light tonight. They will emphasize he’s a “felon” that he attacked “democracy” and that he’s a risk to everyone if he wins again. It will be more of the same crap more and more people are starting to see through.
I don’t hate Joe Biden.
But I really cannot fathom how anyone can make the argument he is fit for another term.
It’s so incredibly obvious he is a puppet and other’s are pulling the strings.
He’s a filler.
There’s nothing unique or great about him.
We see the wandering, the stuttering, the cluelessness all the time now. The White House goes as far as to claim deep fakes are the reason for videos circulating clearly showing his mental lack of awareness and acuity.
He refused a drug test prior to the debate tonight lol.
On top of that his policies particularly in relation to foreign affairs and our countries’ border have made the world a much more dangerous place. China and Russia do not fear us anymore. Crime is sky rocketing — another young girl is raped or killed every single week by criminal illegal aliens. I walked through lower Manhattan yesterday and saw hordes of obvious illegals, shops boarded up and products behind plastic cages, as well as security standing in guard in nearly every store.
Millions upon millions of illegal immigrants are flooding this country without end.
The cartel is here, Chinese, Russian, and other operatives have walked inside our country, and gun violence is soaring in major cities like Chicago.
It’s mayhem…. and no “FeDerAL or OffiCiAL” crime data can change that reality, particularly when 40% of police departments have stopped reporting crime all-together.
The economy seems to be doing well on the surface — but beneath the propagated story is sky high consumer debt, costs, unaffordable homes, and record inflation duration.
Many Americans will be voting with their pockets this election season.
He’s divisive as well — continuing to call half of Americans “Extreme MAGA Americans” and saying White Supremacy is the biggest threat to this nation.
But again — this comes down to stubbornness. Stubbornness to admit that idealist and globalist policies fail over time and that strength is needed to maintain a nation’s longevity. The grift has gone so far now — there’s no going back. People will fall on their sword before admitting they were duped or wrong — we saw this with Covid.
Bearing in mind I’m not some giant Trump super fan (and I mean that sincerely) — I do firmly believe a second Biden term would be utterly disastrous for this country, to the point where the course we end up on is irreversible without violence, widespread unrest, or mass arrests in the government.
That’s my opinion and you’re more than welcome to disagree.
Things need to change and change fast.
TLDR — we’ve gotten soft, spoiled, docile, and fat and our politicians are laughing to the bank and consolidating more power to keep all dissenting views and groups under their thumb. There’s “one” truth. What they say it is. The CNN debate structure just reinforces this fact.
I urge you to watch the debate tonight and think hard about what either candidate’s election could mean for this country and the world in the coming years. Have things gotten better the last four years? Or do you feel a creeping sense of uneasiness and lawlessness encroaching in different walks of life?
There’s a chance it doesn’t really matter who wins — we may see a global war soon, mass domestic unrest in the US, or a large financial calamity.
All seem likely at this point to be honest.
So we can’t take politics too seriously — what will be will be an the truth is we can’t do much at this point except seek the truth.
Don’t be afraid to entertain the idea that everything is not what it seems — just because something is made to appear a certain way, doesn’t mean that it has any basis in reality.
But in the short term let’s have some fun with it — tonight will be entertaining either way.
If you drink I urge you to drink responsibly — if you follow my game or others strictly chances are you’re going to end up like Mr. Lahey from Trailer Park Boys by the end of the night.

Everyone is obviously free to vote for who they want and draw their own conclusions from tonights debate.
In my opinion there’s a lot of ego, pride, and stubbornness in not recognizing how things have materially deteriorated in our country over the past several years. People get far too caught up in partisan politics and entrenched in their positions that the media validates over and over again.
Much of the issue is people are being lied to endlessly.
Without getting too political — my chief concern is that a large segment of the left now aligns with the government and establishment.
We essentially have two groups — pro establishment and anti establishment.
You’d think with all the lies, deceit, and clear corruption uncovered in the last several years more and more people would be shifting their views about the system we live in and those that govern us.
But for some reason this isn’t the case or rather, that’s not ALLOWED to be the case and sentiment we all see and feel.
Food for thought.
Remember — government is supposed to serve us the people — not their own self interest or another countries’ interests. Conditions in our country should be getting better not worse.
See you guys Friday morning.
Personal highlight: Trump calling him Brandon to his face.
General ridiculous highlight: the entire exchange over golf.
