221: US Goes Full Banana Republic - *Spicy Warning
Strap in folks as we’re going to get into a turbo rant today - we will be back Friday with a markets and global news post but today is a turbo geopolitical and political rant.
Lots to touch on.
Critics of Arb Letter and myself like to go with the cliche responses to me bringing up anything slightly inconvenient or against the grain when it comes to geopolitics, american politics, markets, and society.
But the reality is regardless of your political affiliation the world continues to get crazier and crazier.
We’re at an inflection point.
There is blatant corruption in plain sight. Power grabs that couldn’t be more obvious and insidious plans to concentrate influence and money in the hands of the the few at the very top — at the expense of the American people.
Something big will transpire in the near future — either as an election event, development in the tense relations between the US, China, and Russia, with financial markets at home, or from some Black Swan event that’s completely coincidental (think Chinese Spy Balloons or laughably predictable UFO testimony and witnesses.
The clown show has gotten too outrageous that only some sort of big one off dramatic event will suffice to shift or influence public attention towards a new narrative.
It’s essential for those at the top to do this — since the jig is pretty much up and everyday people are beginning to put together the puzzle pieces.
Today I am going to cover the most pressing and breaking macro/geopolitical news updates on a few different fronts. We’ll chat through:

What we will discuss today are some of the most important events and disclosures to come out in the last year. Some are uncomfortable to discuss and confront but it is vital we do so.
While most people are stuck in their post pandemic 9-5 job or mundane routine — some, including many of our readers, I know want to stay up to speed on what’s being divulged.
It’s mind blowing in retrospect though we shouldn’t be all that surprised.
General State of Affairs in US Politics
We are at the point of no return - the fabled crossing of the rubicon has occurred.
I wish I was being dramatic - but day by day it’s more apparent that we’re straying too far of course in this country to avoid a major reckoning, one that could be kinetic or physical, financial, or economic, rattling society.
I’m going to preface this with a similar disclaimer I put in all the political post I out out - this isn’t meant to be a full blown conservative rant or some Trump 2024 piece. I’ve never voted for Trump — partly because I believe our system is rigged in general and partly because I didn’t see completely eye to eye with his earlier policies.
If anything I’m more of a libertarian — I believe in small government, freedom, and personal liberties above all else - though I have views that align with the left and the right politically.
I’m only going to make this disclaimer once today — it likely won’t be enough to prevent the slew of comments and responses that angrily challenge the fact we will talk through today but I can still try. Trump must be discussed in order to see into the deeper themes playing out.
The 2020 election, 2024 election, Biden administration, and Trump play central roles in what we’re watching unfold. The FBI, DOJ, CIA, and other government organizations also play central roles.
But, if you’re paying attention and remain objective Trump plays a massive central indicator to everything playing out - he’s a canary in the coal mine for the new political force we are seeing transform this country for the worse. His continued persecution by the far left and incumbent administration signals that he is what they fear most. But it’s not just him — it’s what he represents, which at present, if you’re being honest with yourself, is probably about 40% of the country.
What we are watching play out in the last several months is not normal by any stretch of the imagination. It’s eerily similar to political movements and abuses of powers by governments we’ve seen all through history namely the communist USSR, middle eastern states in conflict, and many of the South American banana republics that the cia played around in during the 1970s and 1980s.
The incumbent DC uniparty comprised of Biden’s regime and RINO GOP members who have weaponized federal arms of the government in an ideological manner have chosen to remain complicit, corrupt to the core, and continue to be supported and controlled by the deep state cabal/globalists/elite (whatever you want to call the organizations, institutions, and individuals that continue to subvert and betray the US). At this point is it is clearly a combination of domestic political groups and foreign actors and countries spurring the initiatives, changes, and subversion we are watching.
The list at this point is really quite exhaustive of warning signs we’ve seen play out that should concern all Americans. Including:

The weaponization of the FBI and big tech against conservatives
Emerging evidence on the 2020 election
The slew of “indictments” and charges against Trump, none of which have stuck at this point
Emerging details on Fauci and bioweapons labs in China and Ukraine
Continued natural disasters, infrastructure “accidents” train derailments, etc.
Continued leaks and data on the covid 19 response and vaccine push
Shifting economic trends globally (BRICS, debt amounts, crypto, and CBDCs)
Irresponsible monetary policy from the FED and US Gov. has created high inflation, soaring consumer goods costs, and made owning a home nearly impossible for most people
