Good morning.
We will be back Thursday morning with a financial markets oriented post — markets are up today which looks promising, with rate cuts looming tomorrow potentially there will be much to discuss.
Someone asked me recently — what are the ways you manage your mental health and perspective in the face of so much information and news breaking non stop in the world these days. It’s a great question — but in my opinion before you can even begin to approach this, a bitter pill must be swallowed so that you are operating from a realistic perspective about what is really going on around you.
It’s tempting to fall back on the comforting lies that everything will always be as it is.
But I have to be honest — I’m so fucking tired of the endless bullshit at this point. I’m tired of the lies, the nonsense, and the deception. I’m tired of people hoping it all goes away instead of standing up for what they know or feel to be true. The gaslighting is weapons grade on everything.
Things are so ass backwards right now. More than half the country is living in a delusional vortex of propoganda and severe brainwashing — this is more evident each and every day in people’s behavior.
I started Arb Letter and Risk On — not because I thought my ideas and commentary were superior or all mighty — but because I noticed over time that there was a growing trend of ignoring the truth, even avoiding it at all costs. The most basic instincts, truths, and realities abandoned for some twisted perversion of nature.
In recent years this has become defined by an increasingly political lense — which is almost exclusively binary.
Modern day society has become captured almost entirely by this marxist and anti human ideology that attempts to corrupt the very things that make us humans.
The corporate world — once the driving environment of capitalism, markets, and achievement has been hijacked and turned into a soft and padded world for those seeking conformity, submissive existences, and group think. My experience in this world has been characterized by intense bureaucracy, inefficiency, and unfulfillment.
Merit and qualification thrown out the window for appearances, social justice undertones, and diversity at all costs. Of course higher end fields like law, high finance, and select industries are exceptions but broadly speaking it’s amazing these days how many people have zero business sitting in the seats they’ve somehow obtained, entire companies marred by progressive infections.
Even outside the office — many of the things that made men men and women women, have been relentlessly attacked and dismantled, false dreams sold to people promising them more reward than tried and true trials that develop people into who they are meant to be.
For men, competition, being able to become a provider, healthy aggression, and camaraderie, and for women, community, femininity, nurturing, purpose, and family. Even our military has fallen victim to this wave of progressive nonsense — this week the US Navy introduced it’s "first gender-neutral submarine".
Under the guise of third wave feminism and heavy propaganda indicating they weren’t good enough as is, women have been told to leave the home and their families and strive to be men’s equal or superior. I’m not against women doing what they want with their lives — but this comes at a cost.
Morgan Stanley estimates that 45% of women in their “prime working years” (ages 25 to 44) will end up single and childless by the time 2030 arrives. Even if take no issue with this fact at face value — at the very least it impacts politics, as the majority of these women vote for the party currently in power.
At scale, these trends have grave repercussions for society, demographics, and individual nations. Men are cucked and submissive, unwilling to confront authoritarian forces. Women are more empathic than men according to studies, potentially making them an easier target for progressive policies and platforms. Societal unity is altered as these themes play out.
People become more submissive, they become easily influenced.
Covid 19 — a painful memory that many want to leave behind entirely, illustrated just how quickly people will lose all critical thinking ability and courage in the face of lies and manifested fear. It was a large obedience test, and 9/10 people failed it atrociously. Funny how the my body my choice logic was abandoned immediately when people were told they had to comply to go to work, socialize, and travel.
Your government and media organizations lied about most of it — turns out it was a man made bio weapon, it was used to disrupt economies and force mail in voting. So they made the virus and then made the “solution” to it — betting billions. Figures. In retrospect it will probably become obvious this time marked the turning point in which financial markets were permanently put on an unsustainable trajectory due to obscene money printing and stimulus.
Covid was the icing on the cake that solidified the permanent DC ruling class of this country — compromised of Democrats and Republicans, but characterized by this far left ideology permeating intelligence agencies, institutions, government branches, and society. Governments have always been corrupt but this marked a transition entirely away from serving citizens.
Fast forward to today — most people are beginning to get uneasy. Young people are struggling to make it and buy homes, the job market is softening. Politics has injected itself into every corner of life. Geopolitical events overseas are on the edge of escalating, and many are looking to this election as the make it or break event for this country and by extension many parts of the world.
Now my gut tells me, on the heels of two assassination attempt on a former US President, that we are on a collision course where the situation becomes kinetic and violence becomes more widespread. This shift will be much more prominent given the characteristics and shifts of society I described earlier.
Our society has become accustomed to being passive, to accepting these concerning developments as the overton window shifts further and further. People are not ready for things to degrade rapidly, they’ve become quite accustomed to the nerfy existence defined by prosperity and progressivism.
Most are choosing to happily ignore the signs around them, hoping things will just calm down.
They won’t and aren’t.
Today we will explore just how detrimental the gaslighting, psy ops and propaganda is to citizens worldwide and in the US. This compounds the evolving problems from policies put into place by the same people manipulating you for political and monetary gain. Then, I’ll throw together some of the ways I think you can effectively counter this madness.
And it is madness.
Every culture institutionalizes certain forms of behavior that communicate and and encourage certain forms of thinking and acting, thus molding the character of its citizens.
To the degree that the individual is made an object of constant mental manipulation, to the degree that cultural insitutions may tend to weaken intellectual and spiritual strength, to the degree that knowledge of the mind is used to tame and condition people instead of educating them, to that degree does the culture itself product men and women who are predisposed to accept an authoritarian way of life. The man who has no mind of his own can easily become the pawn of the would be dictator.
