201: Domestic Indicators You Should Monitor Closely

Morning kings and lords. I hope everyone is having an excellent week so far.

We are fast approaching the 20,000 subscriber mark in the next 24 hours and I can’t thank all of you guys enough — it’s been an awesome ride so far.

In honor of this marker I am going to drop a classic banger on the state of things right now in the US — though there are macroeconomic implications and catalysts as well.

In the last week or so several issues and interesting developments have played out.

If we’re running smell tests this shit just simply doesn’t pass and it has alarming potential to indicate adverse events in the near future, especially with an election approaching and more pressure on DC.

Over the past several months and years Americans have started to learn about some disturbing truths about the world and the extent of control the US government has over our lives.

Whether it’s the Covid 19 pandemic, Epstein’s wormhole, the Ukraine War, the Twitter Files, or the recent Durham Report, many Americans are waking up to the fact that you simply cannot trust the legacy media contingent and in many cases the US government. It’s ludicrous how many lies are being told at the moment — blatant and flagrant lies.

With a key election coming fast in 2024 it will serve everyone well to be keen in their observation of the events and developments around them so they can have the most informed opinion moving forward AND more importantly, actually know what’s going on.

There have been 5 major developments on our home soil that cause me to scratch my head and begin to think about potential future implications — something I cover frequently in Arb Letter.

1. According to officials, an individual operating a truck that collided with security barriers in close proximity to the White House on Monday night has been apprehended on several charges, including making threats to harm or kill a president, vice president, or a member of their family. Authorities discovered a Nazi flag at the site of the occurrence

2. About 60,000 pounds of a chemical used as both a fertilizer and an explosive is missing after disappearing during a rail trip from Wyoming to California last month, according to federal records

3. More than 50 senators have been issued (though 100 were offered) encrypted satellite phones for emergency communication during emergencies

4. The US Debt Ceiling is the subject for the Treasury Department’s June 1 deadline

5. An AI hoax image of an explosion at the Pentagon spread panic and caused markets to crater earlier this week

Let me ask you something — did you know about all of this? Have you seen coverage of these events that ACTUALLY explores the implications?

We talk a lot about “being in the know” or steering away from having a “normie” point of view but what does that mean exactly?

Let’s start with the basic concept of street smarts — what does that mean to you?

ChatGPT defines street situational awareness as the following:

Situational awareness refers to the ability to perceive and comprehend information about one's surroundings, environment, and the context of a given situation. It involves being aware of relevant factors, such as events, objects, people, and their interactions, and understanding their potential impact on the present and future. Situational awareness encompasses both the physical environment and the social dynamics within it.

I’ve highlighted that last part because it is relevant to the information we’ll cover today.

Many people lack situational awareness. Waking up and going to their 9-5 job, driving home, and plopping onto the couch to watch Tik Tok or sports is all they concern themselves with. However, folks who are watching closely and paying attention understand that their are legitimate red flags popping up left and right.

Are you able to put the pieces together?

At Arb Letter I focus strongly on using critical thinking to approach real world phenomena and events — you should be scrutinizing everything you hear, see, and experience in order to get to the root cause and motivations behind what you are seeing.

The world is a much more raw and ruthless place than many people care to admit or embrace — normally we wouldn’t dwell on it — but from a cyclic perspective it’s not looking great as macro and domestic factors compound by the week. These events WILL impact our lives directly.

So much is altered, misrepresented, and censored these days, that you need to pay close attention in order to understand exactly what is going on around you.

This allows you to have a realistic and fair assessment of the information you are taking in. You don’t have to get crazy and begin stockpiling ammunition and toilet paper in your basement, but if you owe it to yourself to know what’s going on.

The post today looks to give you a realistic forecast of what may come based on recent political and societal events so that you can ensure you come out on top — in a financial sense, security sense, and social sense.

Before we dive in this morning ask yourself these questions and be honest with yourself:

• Are you ready for potential civil or societal unrest? If you’re in a big city how are you preparing for election or disaster induced panic?

• What would you do if the power went out? Or the internet? Could you function? Communicate with loved ones? Contact emergency services? Eat and drink? This is a growing threat and one that our government has all but confirmed this week

• If there is a severe financial or economic event or black swan are you properly hedged? Do you have cash and small bills readily available? What would you do if financial exchanges and networks went down. No brokerage, no online banking, no access to digital money

• Have you thought about the impacts of an escalation in Ukraine? With increasingly more bold action by the West and US to support Ukraine directly with F16s and other assets the chances are growing of a strong Russian show of force

Today’s post is simple. It’s a display of a series of domestic developments in the US that have the potential to end in calamity — calamity that will directly impact all of us.

The trends are concerning, and anyone not paying attention or giving them the diligence and scrutiny they deserve entertains the chance they get completely blindsided, something that is totally avoidable with some basic research and question asking.

I don’t ultimately care who is in office — I care about my financial security, family’s safety, and my livelihood being impacted by adverse events, events that are becoming more and more concerning with each passing week.

It’s undeniable.
