No time to waste today kings.
You know it really is funny — this month we just keep seeing new events develop and I can help but ask the same question each time: incompetence or intentional negligence/complicity?
The answer in each scenario uncovers serious implications for everyone around the world but particularly for us Americans.
Chalk another two W’s up for the Arb Letter forecasting team (me). I detailed the likelihood of a major cyber/grid/IT issue ahead of the US election in multiple Arb Letter posts over the last 6 months and we also mentioned Joe Biden would be dropping out over the last several months.
Today’s post is for folks who “get it”. If you’re behind on the assumptions and realities we are working off of and have been detailing here for awhile — today’s post may have some elements that you’re not ready to accept or consider — and that’s fine, but fair warning ahead of time.
In addition to the recent attempt on Trump’s life last weekend — Friday morning the globe was hit by what many are calling biggest IT/Microsoft outage in history — though I am more inclined to believe there is funny business afoot (more on that later). A significant worldwide IT disruption is impacting various industries globally, affecting airlines, banks, retailers, and broadcasters. It was chaos for about 8 hours.
Texas-based Cybersecurity company CrowdStrike said the problem stemmed from a "defect found in a single content update for Windows” (NBC News).
It should be alarming to all of us that there is such a weak and vulnerable single source of failure that can impact so many pieces of infrastructure globally. It should also make you think about what happens if there is a larger and longer duration event in the near future.
If you are behind on Cyber & Domestic threat posts through Arb Letter I suggest reading the following after today’s post to give you some helpful context and additional color on the topics:
How To Come Out on Top in 2024 (this is one of several posts where we predicted a cyber event AND an assassination attempt - this was December of 2023)
The recent cyber debacle and paired with the botched assassination of Trump begs the question — are these really just incompetence fueled mishaps or is something else going on (My bet at this point is the latter). Add on the drop out of Joe Biden as the Democratic Presidential nominee and we have a wonderful cluster going into the Fall.
I want to preface today’s post with the following — because we’re going to be getting pretty deep into theory and speculation on current and past events.
Is it a good idea to walk around constantly paranoid thinking everyone is out to get you and everything is an intricate grand conspiracy by the deep state cabal?
No.
But if there was ever a time to be paying MORE attention and be MORE skeptical it’s now — and the evidence keeps growing each and every day that there are in fact some large schemes occurring, lies being spread, and deceit being leveraged to consolidate power in our world. Many of the things I cover in Arb Letter keep coming true — many of the “conspiracies” in the words of the mainstream media or establishment — come true only months after the fact (Nordstream, Origin of Covid, Vaccines, RussiaGate, etc.)
And to play Devil’s Advocate — if you think about it everything is a conspiracy in some form. Bankers conspire to make money. Politicians conspire to make money and consolidate power and influence. Athletes conspire to win. A real estate broker conspires to sell a house. Defense companies conspire to take advantage of war and conflict.
Conspiracy is just a fancy word for a scheme or plot amongst an individual or a group to achieve a goal, and oftentimes they are sneaky or not forthcoming in doing so. Is it that far fetched to say that the major events on the global stage are not what they appear to be? That the story WE get as mere peasants is not the truth?
In my mind a lot of this comes down to how you view the world. Do you think the world is inherently a dangerous and unpredictable raw place? Or do you think most people act in good faith all the time? Are you able to watch and detect patterns? Make educated guesses and determinations based on available information?
Today we’re going to dive into the following:
The new details on the assassination attempt on Donald Trump
The CrowdStrike “outage” that took place last week
The drop out of Joe Biden and what this means for the US Election and country
It’s never been more important to understand what’s happening behind the scenes in this country and around the world. Without all information it is impossible for you to make an educated decision or form viewpoints on issues that impact all of us directly.
"We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people."
— John F. Kennedy
Incompetence or Something Else?
Lot of I told you so’s that could be dished out last week to the skeptic and “nothing ever happens crowd”. The world is changing quickly — and those who have buried their heads under the sand like ostriches are likely beginning to at least start to question official narratives they’ve been sold for so long.
Here ‘s the deal — normies are probably eager to lap up the mainstream media and officially approved narrative on what the CrowdStrike failure on Friday was — a mere update. I don’t buy it for a second.
Let’s start with what we know about CrowdStrike and why I am hesitant to believe this was just a glitch or accident related to an “update”.
