Think about how many people you’d consider patriotic, level headed Americans, who you know would have no issue standing up to corrupted authority or oppression.
Think about most of the “men” you know. Many are mindlessly obsessed with sports, beer, weed, porn, social media, degenerate gambling, juuling, Only Fans, and other modern day meaningless pursuits and pastimes all rooted in access to cheap dopamine. They insidiously rob man of any true sense of purpose, meaning, or long term fulfillment in life.
These men are cowardly, avoid conflict, have hardly any virtue (dignity, chivalry, humility, honor) and hide frequently behind the fake worlds of 2022 on Zoom and FaceTime, through text, and email. Part of it isn’t their fault - they were born in an age where man neither explores nor conquers, nor faces true adversity of any kind.
These aren’t men that fight and win wars. They certainly aren’t men that hold politicians accountable for their wrongdoings or abuses of power. These aren’t even the kind of men that would step in if I woman was getting harassed on a metro subway, they’d instead, opt to pull out their phones and take a video.
Most men these days can’t change a car tire, let alone make a stand against a tyrannical government or set of laws/regulations. How did we stray so far from what made the country?
I don’t say this to come off as if I am some awe inspiring role model for all things masculine and right - I’m far from perfect - I simply want to point out how prevalent the complete lack of core qualities that develop men (and women) are from the environments of modern society - the qualities forged from struggle, conflict, and ultimately victory. Life has objectively become so easy for us in the West. Many are getting their first taste of the hard times to come.
It’s worth noting - that even some of the “successful” men you likely know these days are insecure physically laughable wimps coddled by the conveniences and luxuries of modern life. Many such instances - given it’s easier to succeed in eras of abundance, greed, and excess than it is in times of war, conflict, revolution, and strife.
Without falling into the rabbit hole of conjecture, I’ll point out that the CIA, FBI, DHS, and NSA, all probably have more influence over the way our country is being run than any group of patriots or citizens in our supposed democracy. Our checks and balances have long fallen to the wayside with the advent of technology, growth, globalism, and government bloat.
Typical on a long enough timeline for any great nation or kingdom but unfortunate nonetheless. One of the major driver’s of the American Revolution was crippling taxes that Britain desperately needed to impose on the colonies to pay it’s debt from the French Indian War. High taxes was enough to drive colonist’s to rebel and revolt yet nowadays we pay almost 50% of our income in taxes spent on things that don’t benefit citizens in any way at all. And we do nothing.
We were locked up in our apartments and lied to about a virus and we do nothing. We know they lied to us about the origins and what it really is, and yet we still do nothing. People got fired from their jobs for refusing a shot, and that means we are free? We are continually sending Billions of dollars to fund wars in other countries and the American people are supposed to support that? They inflated and printed our currency and we aren’t doing anything. Just letting them form the next game.
Are you confident today’s citizens, both men and women, would ever step up if they needed to to confront tyranny domestically? What is tyranny? High taxes? Causing record inflation? Oppressing people based on skin color, vax status, economic class, or political beliefs? Where’s the line for you? The truth is most people would do nothing even when presented with clear examples of tyranny (some would say we already have).
I can’t help but think about how far from our roots Americans have strayed. We’ve become so distracted and devoid of the behaviors and values that allowed the country to become independent and shake rule from a foreign power or individual. That ultimate ideal, of liberty and god given rights, and the idea of preserving it, was spawned by egregious government oversteps from Britain that catalyzed a revolution that eventually led the the independence of the United States. We can look to Lexington & Concord, the places in Massachusetts where the continental militia first truly resisted British occupation, for some valuable lessons in nationhood.
For all of the United State’s blunders and faults over the years, we’ve always been the shining example of the rogue kid in the classroom who lives by his own rules. We invented modern democracy and society. Other countries love hating on us but at the end of the day model their economies, social cultures, and militaries after ours. We dominated many of the world’s wars through strategic edge and modern development backed by patriotic support from home and pure American drive…
