240: Society, Wealth, and Personal Security in 2023
Well folks - vertical send season is upon us in crypto. Truth is if you’ve been reading Arb Letter for some time you’re probably well positioned and making very good money. Generally I like to shy away from outright financial recommendations and advice — as I feel it has a scammy tone to it and when it goes wrong people tend to feel very wronged especially if they didn’t care to do their own diligence first.
That being said — if you did follow the basic strategies and techniques I cover in Arb Letter (the #4 paid crypto substack behind
and ) you are doing very well in crypto right now — much better than the majority of other crypto “investors” and much much better than the general populace right now who is more focused on day to day costs, inflation, and the erratic stock market. Most of the tips, info, and strategies that have proven successful and continue to accurately forecast what comes next are within the deep dives I put out.
I’m not one for shamelessly shilling content that’s not free but the truth is — in the current environment we live in — your number one priority needs to be accessing proven and reliable sources of information — as opposed to scam artists, “influencers”, and gurus who have continuously misled people on everything from Covid to crypto to stocks to politics.
The same questions keep coming through and it gets tiring:
Andy what do I buy in crypto?
Andy what is your price target for X or X?
Andy what cold storage do I buy?
Every now and then a free subscriber will shoot a DM through “Andy love your stuff but all the good content is paid can you make it all free?”
Good and differentiated information is not free. Anything worth having is also not free.
Interacting and engaging with leading players or interesting minds in any space is not free. I don’t spend 9-12 hours a week on Arb Letter in order to make sure my information, commentary, and takes can be accessed by everybody — I do it for the people who are willing to pay for their spot at the table: chiefly because it shows me they have a commitment to improving themselves while sourcing good information AND because I know if they aren’t willing to forfeit $5/month for the chance to become better, it’s likely a lost cause all together.
If you’re second guessing $5 a month I am doubtful you have any real drive to understand what’s going on in order to drive success and improvement.
After all — anyone who has followed even the most basic advice 'I’ve shared on here re: crypto is likely up $20,000+ on $BTC and $1,000+ on $ETH.

I’ve learned over the years that you need to pay to play — I spend $100’s each year on substacks from people smarter or more experienced than me. I spend $100’s more on books, content, and resources to try and become better. I pay $1000’s in fees, add ons, and tips in order to make experiences more enjoyable, faster, or more efficient.
The truth is I put out a great deal of free content and information and have for many years — premium content is a vetting system for serious people as well as a pay off for time expended to share this information.
To truly level up requires a re-wiring of the way you view money and your time.
Todays post is about the haves and have nots — rather, who will have and will not have in the future when it comes to wealth, freedom, and ability to remain secure as social conditions deteriorate due to politics and the deterioration of societal norms.
More importantly I’m going to talk about how you can become a “have” as opposed to a have not in the current system based on the success and precautions/hedges I have implemented that are already starting to pay off.
We’ll focus primarily on where crypto is going — and how to take advantage of it and what to expect from the masses, who will likely make all the same mistakes they did last cycle. I will touch on resources I pay for and follow to help make sure I am on top of what is happening in the moment and what to expect in the next several months and years. Chiefly — I will lay out exactly what my strategy is moving forward to profit with my top tips and strategies for generating wealth in crypto that have worked for 7 years now.
Secondly — since real world events continue to prove my forecasts are coming true we’ll also touch on some disturbing trends stateside in the US that are suggesting my former predictions re: terror, civil unrest, violence, and politics are going to worsen and come to fruition very soon. We actually have Ivy League officials who are failing to condemn calls for genocide on their campuses.
Can’t say I am that surprised.
Markets, finance, and crypto are related to these events in more ways than many think — so to understand the broader themes of sovereignty, freedom, and security you must understand how these issues are trending in real time.
Everything in this post is, in my opinion, need to know intelligence for young kings and queens interested in outperforming the masses in two areas of life that matter most — finance and personal security.
