EXOTIC MARKETS
I have gone over my alt coin picks several times but as we head into the end of 2021 will go through a quick refresher given the market’s performance and where I think the best risk/reward remains. I remain overly defensive on equities and have stopped adding outside retirement account contributions.
To be very clear, I expect a harsh Winter with substantial supply chain issues and potential social unrest as the economic situation continues to deteriorate. You will see continued efforts to gaslight and mislead on the sobering reality of Inflation. Case and point below:

Arbitrage Andy’s Top Alts
Now look, if you listened to me or dozens of other way smarter and qualified people in the last few years, you’re probably up big on BTC/ETH. If not, dollar cost average in on red days. If we’re looking for more explosive returns we would do well to turn our attention to a range of what I consider blue chip alts; high upside, good amount of risk, but solid overall projects. Not financial advice do your own research, but these are the projects I would make sure to have exposure to in the coming months.
ChainLink ($LINK) - Yes I love $LINK. I have touched on several reasons why I am bullish on $LINK. The project just surpassed over $80B in total value captured by the middleware/ premier oracle solution for connecting on chain data and real word events. The Chainlink team has surpassed something like over 900 partnerships and recently the World Economic forum laid a framework for how companies can prepare for blockchain tech with chainlink. I will concede the price action has been shitty compared to other alt coins but I will stay loyal and patient, the fundamentals look good to my monke brain.
AAVE - Aave is an open source and non-custodial liquidity protocol for earning interest on deposits and borrowing assets. What does that mean in english? it basically allows all kinds of users to lend, borrow and earn interest on crypto assets, all without middlemen. *Wall Street didn’t like that….
Cardano ($ADA) Cardano is a proof-of-stake blockchain platform: the first to be founded on peer-reviewed research and developed through rigorous evidence-based methods. It combines several pioneering technologies to provide unparalleled security and sustainability to decentralized applications, systems, and societies. Cardano is being built in five stages: foundation, decentralization, smart contracts, scaling, and governance. Usually people like SOL ETH or ADA. I don’t discriminate.
Polygon $MATIC - Polygon is a protocol and a framework for building and connecting Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks together. The MATIC token serves two purposes: securing the network via staking and being used for the payment of transaction fees. With polygon, any project can easily spin-up a dedicated blockchain network which combines the best features of stand-alone blockchains (sovereignty, scalability and flexibility) and Ethereum (security, interoperability and developer experience). Additionally, these blockchains are compatible with all the existing Ethereum tools (Metamask, MyCrypto, Remix etc), and can exchange messages among themselves and with Ethereum.
PolkaDot ($DOT) Polkadot enables cross-blockchain transfers of any type of data/ assets, not just tokens. Connecting to Polkadot gives you the ability to interoperate with a wide variety of different blockchains in the Polkadot network. You can see the usual suspect VC firms interested in this project. Good and bad. I own a decent amount.
NICE TO HAVES:
(Coins/tokens I want to gain more exposure to during a significant downturn or potentially a go sell off into another multi year bear market):
Solana ($SOL) - As I mentioned I missed the SOL run up. I will not buy this high, but definitely want to sell some ETH/BTC at nice levels to potentially fund a bag of $SOL.
Avalanche (AVAX) - is a smart contract-capable blockchain platform focused on transaction speed, low costs, and eco-friendliness. Ultimately, what Avalanche hopes to deliver is a highly scalable blockchain that doesn't sacrifice decentralization or security. Seeing more and more chatter on this one online.
Honorable mentions: $UFO, $MANA, $TRX, $LTC, $SUSHI, and $UNI
EXOTIC NEWS
The Kyle Rittenhouse case has been playing out this week, with some interesting developments this. Bill Ackman, the founder and CEO of hedge fund Pershing Square, tweeted Thursday night that him and his wife had watched the trial and decided that Kyle is innocent and demonstrated a civic minded demeanor the night of the incidents (putting out fires, giving first aid, etc.). Which is what he did if you watch the video evidence.
Bill goes on to explain that it’s probably a good idea to review the trial and actually listen to what is being said.
Here are the objective FACTS from the trial. I’ve watched nearly every minute.
Kyle spent most of the night protecting property, putting out fires, and administering first aid.
Kyle was shot at from behind in the first Car Source 1 Lot and subsequently had Rosenbaum grab his rifle while attacking him from behind.
A mob chased Kyle, he was knocked to the ground from behind. He shot a man who jump kicked his face, he shot a man who swung a skateboard - truck side up, into his neck/head.
Finally he shot Grosskreutz who feigned surrender by putting his hands up, then lunged and pointed his firearm at Kyle’s head. The video clearly shows Kyle moving from low ready to shooting AFTER Grosskreutz aims his gun at Kyle’s head.
After seeing this event play out in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year, at face value I saw a kid who shouldn’t have put himself into a situation like that, I think that goes without saying and I won’t argue that. To me it’s clear what the verdict should be. But alas, I digress. Let me know what you think of the Rittenhouse trial in the comments.
Happy to announce we launched a new Holiday merch line featuring the Transitory Trap Lord himself, Jerome Powell. These will sell like hotcakes and given supply chain issues if you;’re interested I recommend buying sooner rather than later to make sure they arrive for you to wear to the annual Thanksgiving table debate on crypto and inflation. We may have to make these into NFTs. Stand by on that.
The Rittenhouse trial is an absolute joke, about the only good thing is that some people are waking up to how much the media has been lying to them about this and so much else.
The kid made a mistake by being there, but can't blame him for wanting to look after the town where he worked, where a lot of his family lived, and where his best friend lived.
Everything he did looks like clear self defence, if there is any justice at all he will be acquitted.
